简介:

Anton SchäffnerPrinciple investigator, group leader in Helmholtz Center Munich. In this talk, Anton will try to cover the study of the Arabidopsis UGT76B1 starting out with the sole knowledge that the UGT76B1 gene is top stress-induced Arabidopsis UGT genes. He will focus on its role in modulating and attenuating the defense status of Arabidopsis by glucosylating the immune-stimulatory SA (Salicylic acid) and NHP, leading to the most recent discovery in root-dependent modulation of shoot growth and defense via regulating the release of NHP from roots.
